Bio
Timothy Njagi is a researcher with the Tegemeo Institute of Agricultural Policy and Development at Egerton University. Prior to his current assignment, he worked in promoting rural development with the Ministry of Devolution and Planning. He received his bachelors degree in Economics from Kenyatta University, and received his M.Sc. in international development studies and a Ph.D. in development economics from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS). Njagi's research interest is in development economics with a special focus on governance issues, agricultural development, technology adoption, land issues, and credit markets in Sub-Saharan Africa.
