Samuel Ssenyimba is a program officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where he manages a portfolio focused on rural and agriculture finance and related smallholder risk interventions Sub-Saharan Africa and India. Prior to this he managed the Africa portfolio and investment activities of a leading global social impact fund and was a rating analyst with a global microfinance rating agency. Ssenyimba holds an MSc. in international development finance from Reading University and a BSc. in agriculture economics from Makerere University.
