Guanghong Xu studies the economic development of lower-income countries and how technology can help with the global poverty reduction. He has conducted fieldwork in Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania, and is currently a visiting scientist at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in Nairobi, Kenya.
