Enid Katungi is a scientist at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) based at Kawanda laboratories of NARO Uganda. She brings to the team over 20 years of experience in the Ugandan agricultural context that includes contributing to bean seed systems in the East African region under the Pan African bean Research alliance (PABRA) and managing exotic banana cultivar dissemination projects in the central parts of Uganda. In the past 15 years, her work has focused on seed systems, improved bean variety adoption and impacts, gender dynamics, and varietal trait valuation analysis. Katungi holds a Ph.D. in agriculture economics.
